From TigerLaunch’s humble origins 8 years ago, we have evolved from a Princeton-focused endeavor to a global discovery of groundbreaking student startups. We are so excited to host our eighth annual TigerLaunch Finals on Princeton University campus and look forward to seeing groundbreaking pitches!

Pitches

What is the pitch format?

The pitch format is the same as the regional competitions: 5 min pitch, 4 min Q&A.

Who can pitch?

Only student founders who are currently enrolled in university are allowed to pitch. Everyone can participate for the Q&A period though.

How will I receive my feedback?

TigerLaunch members will be taking notes during judges deliberations and sending out feedback a couple weeks after finals.

What are the money prizes?

First place: $25k
Second place: $10k
Third place: $5k

How will the pitch order be decided? Can I change the order of the pitches?

We have randomized the order of the pitches. We will not change the order of the pitches.

How do I register for the event if I am a spectator?

If you are a spectator, you must fill out this form before attending the event Once you have filled out the form, please check-in at the welcome desk before proceeding to the main event.

COVID Policy

Are masks required?

As of now, Princeton’s COVID policy states that masks are optional indoors. We leave the decision is up to the competitors whether they would like to wear a mask or not.

What happens if I get COVID?

If possible, you can send another student representative to pitch in your place. Otherwise, please contact Kathy and Reha as soon as possible to work out alternative options.

Hotel

Where is the hotel?

All competitors are staying at Courtyard by Marriott Princeton. The address is 3815 US Route 1 @, Mapleton Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540.

How do competitors get from campus to the hotel and back?

TigerLaunch will be providing transportation.
