
Stephen Ross
Stephen is an Analyst at Hyde Park Angels, the most active early stage investor in Chicago. He helps drive HPA's People First approach by connecting portfolio companies with the HPA network to drive mutually beneficial results. Before HPA, he was the Director of Sales at AMPY, a Northwestern startup that developed the world's smallest wearable motion charger. In his spare time, you can catch Stephen at Wrigley Field or at one of the north shore's concert venues.

Victor Gutwein
Victor Gutwein is the managing director of M25 Group, a micro-VC firm he founded with some family members in 2015. Victor is also the co-chair of the Consumer group at Hyde Park Angels. Previously he has worked in corporate strategy on a variety new businesses in retail & ecommerce. Victor has a passionate history with startups, including a vending machine business and kick scooter company, along with being on the board of the University of Chicago’s first student-run venture fund.

Yelena Shkolnik
Prior to joining Jump, Yelena was an investor with MK Capital, where she supported MK’s portfolio companies and made investments in enterprise software, cloud computing and marketing technology.
She was also an associate with McNally Capital, where she focused in energy and closed an investment in the clean energy space. Before business school Yelena served as finance manager for DreamWorks Studios, where she was actively involved in negotiating the studio’s raise of new capital and the adoption of a new global licensing strategy.
Yelena holds a BA in economics with honors from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Chicago Booth.

Scott Metcalf
Scott Metcalf is an accomplished product leader and career coach with over 30 years of experience. Currently, he is Assistant Director, UChicago Careers in Business, delivering career development support to students interested in Finance, Consulting, Marketing, and General Management. Prior, Scott was a product leader for nine years at W.W. Grainger, the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products. His responsibilities as Senior Director, Global Product Management included strategic planning and execution of in-country assortments and international sourcing for private label lines. Scott holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Robert Rosenberg
Robert Rosenberg is the Associate Vice President for Communication at the University of Chicago, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Chicago Booth School of Business. He works to communicate the University’s leadership in teaching, research, and impact; to strengthen the bonds between the University and the diverse communities it serves; and to promote entrepreneurship and economic development.
Robert received an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MA from Tufts University, and a BA from Harvard University. He and his wife, Ellen, live in Hyde Park.

Louis Goldman
Mr. Goldman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Navigator Law Group, a boutique law firm focused on corporate and international projects including M&A, securities, technology transactions and significant work with start-ups and angel investing groups. He also represents private and family owned businesses in the restructuring of ownership interests and governance relationships.

Dave Gomel
David Gomel is co-founder and co-CEO of Finom, responsible for product development and strategy. David holds an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Analytic Finance, Econometrics and Statistics, and Strategic Management. Prior to business school, David worked at CBS Corp. in "intrapraneurial" corporate strategy and product management roles. David holds a BA in International Relations from Brown University. David is a lifelong skier and wishes Chicago was a little less flat.

David Vandergrift
David joined Pritzker Group Venture Capital in 2015, where he focuses on investments in enterprise software and emerging technologies. Prior to PGVC, he founded and ran MVP Innovation, an enterprise software company in the visual merchandising function of the retail industry. Before MVP Innovation, David worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he worked to improve strategy and operations for clients across a variety of industries, including consumer goods, agriculture, heavy industrials, advanced electronics, and petrochemicals. Prior to leaving McKinsey, David was on track to be the youngest partner in the firm’s history.
David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. Go Jackets!
